Like I said it was brought to my attention late one evening that creating a duplicate was verboten, and that one was Vanish-ed (which didn't bother me. That is the whole reason I went digging, that and the fact I couldn't (for the life of me) remember the thread to which C♥C is now reffering to me. I also still think in perusing that older thread the china should bring back the Babe Icon, and wonder where the Turkey is and when was its' last appearence?

That's probably the most salient theory....

The thread by 'Buzz Hog' [where is he now?] was a quip about the 'coming of age of Wincustomize' [one HAD to have a 'listening-to' thread to be a legitimate website].

At a similar vintage I posted the 'People will hit me, but....' which was the same thing, albeit an attempt to liven up the early message board which was in its infancy and not well patronized.

The latter is still around, the former passed into irrelevancy.

As for wading through a long thread....one can jump to its end with the '>>' arrows....[or to the beginning with their opposites].

The old thread needn't have been removed, but also its revival would set an unwanted precedence where the nostalgia value was outweighed by confusion of time-line which happens often even with less aged revivals...

I rememeber the Diff China, I was just mentioning the two together, to be expedient.
Like I said Gang, I got it, understand it, it just confused me, as to its' implementation.
I didn't know we had a "Timeline" to consider. I never thought of this site as linear, anyways.
It is one of the reason I thought the search fuctionality was provided for?
Anyways, nice to have some kind of resolution. Thank you and maybe this can be a learning experience, for all concerned, all not involved and the Board in General. Does WinCusto 2K5 clear any of this up?
